I'll try to make a long story short but uncertain how successful I'll be... lol...
So, I am a completely legit seller. Just had some bad luck with my accounts from back in the day, which in turn forced me to become a stealth user!
I've been purchasing stealth accounts from a very reputable seller here on the forum. I would love to give him kudos but i don't want to make him sound bad at all since i'm have this little glitch at the moment. Normally his sales are awesome! I've never ever had an issue with him. If you want to PM me I can give you his name so you can bring him some business! He's been a blessing.
Anyway, I just went to finally use one of the last stealth acct's I purchased from him. I'm still getting accustomed to using multiple stealth's so I was taking it easy and working on one at a time until I got comfortable with using multiple accounts and making certain i was completely organized with it.
So, all has been going good (fingers crossed) and I decided to work on my last stealth account that I really hadn't touched. I've sold only about 3 items. I went to look into the paypal and the seller I purchased my stealth account from added the VCC, as normal, but then I realized that there was no VBA account attached to the stealth PP account. No biggie I thought. I'll just add my own bank acct, which I'd eventually have to do anyway. Well, I went to add my bank account and PP is asking for a phone verification.
I'm stunned and do not know how to proceed. The phone # my stealth seller created my stealth account with has a bogus # (name/address/etc.), of course. How in the heck can I do a phone verification when I cannot answer the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ phone # added to the account?
I did some reading on the forum before bothering you all but I'm still stumped. I've read that if I change the phone # associated with my PP before doing the verification that it will cause a red flag. I had 3 cell/landline that i used for google voice on my older stealth acct's in the past. When i attempt to use the same cell/landline to create a new google voice (⊗⊗⊗⊗) #, google states that I can no longer use those numbers. I assume I've used those numbers too many times with old google voice accounts. I wasn't too organized then so I couldn't even begin to tell you what acct's my old legit #s were used for, for obtaining google's voice (⊗⊗⊗⊗) #'s.
I've contacted the my stealth seller asking why there wasn't a VBA associated with my stealth account purchases but I've not heard back from him yet. So, I really need some advice on how to proceed. I can list on my stealth ebay just fine, I can receive payments on my stealth pp just fine but my problem is trying to add a bank to withdrawal the money. As soon as I add the routing/acct #'s for the bank I want to use to withdraw money, PP automatically pop's up with requiring a phone verification.
What do I do??? Do I go purchase a new tracfone and change that to a google voice? I also read that PP is catching onto people using tracfones. I'm also in MD and the stealth acct is all set up in CA. If I don't start figuring out how to get my funds soon I don't know how my family is going to pay bills. My income as always been depended on ebay. I've been selling for the past 25 years and now we have even more obstacles to jump through to make money for our family! I'm not doing aything wrong. I don't steal or cheat anyone. The only bad thing I'm doing is lying to ebay/pp so I can have a account to list onl
It's starting to force me to want to make a career move but I love what I do and I also get to be home with my children, which is so important to me. I guess my long story that I tried to shorten, has turned into a long story, sorry!
I really need some expert advice. I'm so hoping I'm missing something easy here and I'm being stupid and somone out there can direct me and tell me all you have to do is.... and you'll be just fine!!! Please someone tell me that!!!
If adding a VBA first and then changing later to a regular bank acct, will this work? I'm not too familiar with how you go about using/adding VBA. Please experts out there, please take time to help me and my family. I really need to know the next plan of action I should take. I don't want to mess up this account. For listing the little I have (on this new stealth acct) and for not have any sort of bank linked to PP, ebay has surprisingly lifted limits so i'm anxious to start rocking and rolling with this account.
