Amazon tax ID issue, anyone figured it out yet?

I have 19 more days to provide Amazon tax information, or I will be banned again. Anyone figured out how to deal with this policy? Please help. Thanks in advance.

Just start a company or a dba. Often you can do it online anymore with the state government websites.

I know with the Michigan.gov you can easily just do it online.

Or, you could have a relative or friend start an amazon.com account. Just make sure not to use the same internet, PC, etc as was on your other previous amazon account(s).

Its pretty simple.....enter your EIN and pay your taxes or dont sell anymore.

If using stealth, how do you overcome the tax id requirement? Is setting up a dba is the only way? That seems a little shady because you would have to do it under the name of the amazon acct, which is not based on a real person.

dba is a fictitious name anyway. it is simply the name you are 'doing business as'.
