eBay Account about to go below standard! New Account? Stealth? etc
Hello,
I have searched the forum for similar threads but I have not found one with the specific questions I have.
I have an authentic eBay UK Business seller account that has been active for around 2 years. I previously went below standard in February and it took to around May to get back to above standard. I am now at risk of falling below standard again on the 20th August, and I don't see myself gaining enough sales in the next 2 weeks to offset this. All of my listings will be forced to the bottom of the search results whilst below standard.
My plan is to have a 2nd eBay selling account on standby that I could use in when my original goes below standard. The problem is, if I open a new eBay account following the usual methods, I will have very limited selling allowances and 0 feedback, and the items I am selling have a high value (~£200).
If I purchase a stealth account with already increased limits and a few feedbacks, change the address details to my own and link my original PayPal account (in good standing) and carry on selling my usual products will eBay link the the two accounts and limit the new account?
Would this be a problem? Would I have to carry on using stealth details on the new account i.e. New address, new paypal account, new IP address etc forever?
So basically what I am asking is - If I have 2 eBay accounts and one is below standard, will eBay limit the 2nd?
I hope this makes sense!
I should also note that the items I am selling are legitimate, not vero risk etc
