Default At risk for below standard on my ebay account.

Because of two neutral and one bad feedback I am at risk of going into below standard on the 20th of this month. If I do not get my feedback up by then will they close my account or will they reduce the limit of things i can sell? I am trying not to lose this account so any help would be great.

Check to see if there is a 'grace' period.

In the UK below standard accounts have a grace period under the new defect sustem.

I onviously don't know if this is the case for the US.

The alternative is to sell more items and dilute the defect rate.

The new standards are a killer. My legit account is falling into the same trap.

Don't forget, defects update after a couple of days, but total sales take a while to update. You may be clear on Aug 20.

I'm on the same boat as you guys. My legit account with high xxxx feedback is projected below standard because of a very strange spike of open cases in the last 3 months. I think they'll do something about it after august 20 because they'll lose half their sellers. Or maybe that's their aim.

Yes they want to clean house , they know what they are doing here. And to keep a TRS account going is virtually impossible , and will be left for all the big store brick and mortar stores, not the small sellers

We will find out the grace period when we start getting warnings.

They should give at least 2 to 3 months.

I have a feedback of 98.2 percent. How high do I need to get it so my account does not get shut down in 3 months? I really don't want to start over again....

Feedback percentage no longer matters under the defect system. You need to check your seller dashboard and see your defect rate. It needs to be below 5%.

I think I read the grace period in the uk is early 2015. so if you are below standard now you have untill next.year to improve. (double check that though)

You best starting working.

Heard of accounts being really closely looked at with 98.3%

How are you placed for feedback revisison?

How long ago were these neutrals & negative?

Why did it happen? Not being harsh but......

sellers need to SIT on their accounts and monitor their status.

Not being a doom merchant but ebay can come back later & zap accounts for resolved issues.

Nothing to do with the buyer.

It was what you were selling on the account.

Buyer claimed INR, despite 3 items being sent to the address provided. Left neg. Left at 98.3%, couldn't reason for feedback removal.

MC113 meant ebay dislike you heaps.

Items must have been an issue unless you sold a variety on the account.

One of them was not my fault. The USPS lost the package and the buyer left negative feedback even through I sent them their money back. This happened a month ago. One person left neutral feedback because it was not as clean as he thought it as going to be. This happened March 6th and then the last one she claimed that it did not work and is returning it even through I tested it out. She left neutral feedback as well. This just happened. I feel like if there is a grace period I can fix this before the account is shut down. I am not sure through. I can only do 10 items a month so it will be hard.
