Default Which bank accounts are best?

By reading the forums I gathered that best accounts to use are either:
Basic Accounts or Savings Accounts by any bank except for LLoyds or TSB.

Apparently savings accounts raise flags at PayPal? and cause issues down the line?

Another question I have is how many savings accounts or basic accounts is it safe to open with one Bank?

I know a lot of people talk about having a good relationship with your bank. But there must be a safe limit? Has anyone run into problems by opening too many accounts with same bank?

Most I have at the moment is 7 savings accounts with Santander and no issues yet. They have been all opened with approximately a month interval.

UK VBA is the better option.

Its quite new atm and only the Russians are doing it at a high cost.

Weigh up your profit/loss account and see it it is financially viable for you.

That may be somewhat relevant, but the sellers on this forum are opening and closing accounts with various banks like crazy to keep up with the demand. I am just interested to hear from someone who had experience or knows of someone who had trouble with banks after opening too many accounts.
