Still having problems with Paypal (although no issues with ebay). What's the best alternative to Paypal?

No many have any success with other services unless they had very large and robust sales on a long standing ebay account with repeat buyers. Then you can hope for 20-40% of your previous sales.

U have to have a paypal acc to sell on ebay if u dont have one then u cant sell on there or am i wrong?

you are not wrong, u basically need paypal to make eBay worth it. it does make it safer for you and buyer.
