Default Legit addresses for multiple (10?) LLC eBay/PayPal accounts

I'd like to have about 10 LLC's with as legitimate as they can be accounts and information. I'd like to be able to receive mail/packages at the address on file. (Returns, without having customers want to return to the address on file with eBay/PayPal.)

My local post office has small boxes at $102/year, and a slightly farther post office has them at $56/year.

Both post offices have street addressing, so the address will look like: 123 Some Street #1420, City, ST, Zip.

I'm assuming eBay/PayPal is smart enough to catch 10 LLC's operating out of the same address, just with different suite-looking # numbers. Am I giving them too much credit?

Anyone operating multiple LLCs with legit addresses? How are you doing it? I can't see having PO Boxes at 10 different post offices around me. Even with text/email notification that something's delivered letting me not check the box when there's no notifications, I'm assuming other people's junk mail will be delivered and trigger notifications.

Could certainly speak with a UPS Store-type place about multiple box discounts, maybe in bulk are cheaper. But, I'd have the same issue with eBay/PayPal seeing a bunch of businesses at the same address (ignoring suite-looking # number.)

Could use various mail forwarding companies to have addresses scattered. But, then, I'd probably be at the same address as some of you guys, having the same problem. And, it would cost a lot more, especially if packages ever went there...

there are TONS of online mail box rental places, for $10-$60/mo, just google search, go down a few pages, and pick some. It will take a bit of time at first but it gets quick. Also, there are a dozen postal offices within 5 mi of me, I expect its similar for you. Finally, dont worry about bumping into addresses others here use. its impossible to coordinate, but its not necessary I dont think. As long as you dont share your findings with others, the overlap will be slim and random-ish. (aka it will blend)

Probably my biggest concern is those few customers who will only ship returns to the address eBay says they have to ship to. Then, either packages going to online mail rental places and needing to be forwarded to me at considerable expense... Or packages going to a ton of post offices in my area, making me spend a lot of time driving around checking post offices every few days because they don't seem to have a reliable notification service that you have mail/delivery.

So, I'm wondering how anyone with multiple LLC's deals with the returns issue.

My hope was to open a bunch of boxes at my local post office, but I'm assuming eBay/PayPal is smart enough to catch that... But maybe I'm giving them too much credit.

Depending on the item I just usually refund once they ask for a return. then email them a label. Avoiding eb in the process and customer happy because they have been refunded, works great, but you need to take risk of non return

True, if they get the refund right away, maybe they'd worry less about not using the address eBay said to use.

I'm planning on offering more expensive items as well, so hoping to figure out a good way to do this, giving the refunds after their shipment is received.

Maybe it just means 5 PO Boxes in the area, and go to a different one each day of the week.

I do this too. On orders up to $200. I think they just feel "responsible" for the trust you've placed in them lol it often even causes a positive feedback when I believe I would've gotten a neg. I almost never have someone keep it.

I had one guy do a BS manipulative AZ guarantee for a used book - I just refunded him and sent a prepaid shipping label in case he decided to be a good human being. Eventually he apparently felt guilty and sent it back to me using the shipping label lol it was clearly heavily read but it was worth the same as when I sold it so I didn't lose out.

But I've also had a buyer return a stack of paper of the exact weight of the item I sent him (lol smart man knows Amazon's system). So it's hit or miss I guess.
