Ebay listing glitch showing bidders max bid

So i'm selling an item and notice when searching for it through ebay that the price is at £40.00 however when you click into it the price was £10.00 I then get my mate to bid it up slowly all the way to £39.00 still as the 2nd highest bidder so ebay has being showing the last bidders maximum bid!

A late merry christmas present for me!
