New Phone and New eBay

Hi everyone,

If I got a new phone could I download the eBay and PayPal app and log in to one of my main stealth accounts and operate it?

I kind of miss the eBay alerts I use to get on my phone with my suspended account and was wondering if I could do it on a new phone.

You could in theory if the phone has never been used with eBay APP before

You still need to think about the IP address though

Surely you can get the same alerts but via email though no?

Would the physical phone be in the same general area as the stealth account? Because one of the things they state their App has access to is location information. Presumably that is through GPS. It can also access your contact list and several other things. It really IS a very intrusive App:

This app has access to:

• Identity - Uses one or more of: accounts on the device, profile data
• Contacts - Uses contact information
• Location - Uses the device's location
• SMS - Uses one or more of: SMS, MMS. Charges may apply.
• Photos/Media/Files - Uses one or more of: files on the device such as images, videos, or audio, the device's external storage
• Camera - Uses the device's camera(s) (THIS ONE IS CREEPY!)
• Wi-Fi connection information - Allows the app to view information about Wi-Fi networking, such as whether Wi-Fi is enabled and names of connected Wi-Fi devices
• Device ID & call information - Allows the app to determine the phone number and device IDs, whether a call is active, and the remote number connected by a call
• Other - receive data from Internet, full license to interact across users

I don't get any alerts of sales I make anymore back on my old account I use to get sales alerts and PayPal alerts and I use to love them.

Now I'm more behind a computer screen operating stealth accounts which I enjoy but miss those alerts I use to get.

How would I get alerts via email?

Anyway of using a different ip on a new phone?

Just use the Gmail app and link the email to that but make sure images are off.

No the phone would not be in the same area as my stealth account. I use a VPN on my computer which is always in the same area.

I'm not sure if the App gets access to GPS or not. If it does, or if it pings the Wi-Fi connections, then the VPN would not stop it from getting location information. Hopefully someone who knows the answer to this will chime in.

I DO know that you could use an Android Emulator with this App. Properly set up on the same Windows User account that your stealth account is on and with the VPN connected, you should be OK. But that kind of defeats the purpose of the mobile device.

Again, hopefully someone will chime in who knows more about this.

I tried downloading the VPN app I use on my computer on my phone but it requires an IOS 8 or higher and my phone doesn't support that.

I guess if I did do this on a new phone I would always need to connect to my VPN when logging into my eBay and PayPal account and then log out and then turn VPN off.

Hopefully someone kindly enough can chip in and help.

It's the novelty side of the business I'm missing now. I use to love waking up to sales from eBay on my phone and listening to a sale sound once I made a sale they we're the good old days for me but if I do this I want to do it the right way hence the reason for the post.
