My selling limits have been stuck on 90 items per month for ages. All previous limits were raised within a reasonable amount of time but this one seems to be stuck
I was recently promoted to top rated seller and yet my limit still stays the same. I'm well within the £s limit it's just the number of items limit that I would like to get higher.
Obviously I'm not going to request a higher limit under any circumstances as that could kill my stealth account
Any ideas?
Thanks

Ive found that all ebay accounts, at some point, will stop having limits increased organically. But 90 items seems a bit premature for a business seller account.
Easiest solution is to go on ebay chat and request higher selling allowance. They will ask you some simple questions regarding your business model. Ive done this over a 100 times on many many accounts without fail.
When i get a chance i will share some tips on how to increase selling limits very easily on existing accounts and how to obtain higher selling allowances from the get go. High limit accounts are very easy to create IF you have the time.

You should look at some of GhostOfAmazon's threads about calling in. He seems to be very successful at it. I myself am chicken**** to call in. I hate it with a passion, even though it is never that bad.
Something I noticed with some of my accounts, and this is NOT A FACT. But, some accounts that wouldnt get increases, i would let sit idle for 1 or 2 months then start selling again. I would usually get an increase within the next 30 days. Again, NOT A FACT, but just something I have noticed in the past.

Or off course wait 30 days go on live chat and get your increase ( in my experience ever 21-23 days since opening account or last increase)
More recently ive just been doing the live chat ever 3 weeks. never let me down yet.

Calling them is not hard. I have done it multiple times when I needed a selling increase and have been successful every time.
Have the Excel spreadsheet you keep with the account's details opened when you're calling them. If they ask you for your birthday and you say, "Uh, give me a sec," they'll know something's up.
Once you verify your personal info with the rep, they'll ask you where you source your products. Once you tell them, they'll put you on hold and your limits will be raised.
If you have had your limits raised anytime within the past 30 days, don't bother calling, because they won't raise them.

Organic increases will come if you're patient.
It's very rare for an account not to get increases if you're selling close to the limits for a few months.

I have found that if you list to the max allowance you have and keep getting the "You've reached your allowance, contact us to list more" request after listing more items, then it usually triggers an allowance for me after a couple of days | | The Following User Says Thank You to Redhitchy1 For This Useful Post: | | |

Calling in isn't an issue - just need some confidence on the other end of the phone and don't think about it too much.

Once I did get a snotty nosed bint who questioned the 3 negative feedback in over 2000 positives and asked me to explain them. Pah, the Irish.

I'm sure ebay is used to people calling in requesting increases, especially when there handing out 5/500 limit account. Who the hell sells only 5 items a month? lol I wouldn't be surprised if most of eBays call volume is about selling limit increases.
I would just call, tell them you have a bunch of your kids clothes that you would like to sell but you have way more than 20 cute baby outfits and simply request the increase. lol
