passive income with lending

Wanting to have some passive income interested in peer to peer lending, which one from the list would you say go for?

P2P lending is not a bad investment. Maybe read into a little Tin before you shoot yet another person down.

Gives a 404 error at the moment

That’s a pretty large assumption....

I simply said you were making a presumption not that it was an incorrect presumption, it may correct.

You might want to have a little read over some of your posts recently because they come across like you’ve got a splinter stuck somewhere it shouldn’t be. It’s really off putting

P2P is a good investment. I cannot speak to the soundness of the advise given in the website. That’s something important for the investor to do.

@Lucy - I would have a look at a few different websites not just one.

The problem with this type of investment is the huge amount of risk

If you invested in, say, Shell, Barclays or BAE if things start to go pear shaped you can usually get out from under at relatively little cost

With P2P lending you are there to the conclusion

It wouldn't be for me but you must decide for you

But the irony of course is that to suggest I'm wrong implies you know their circumstances too in which case you'd be discouraging them - or at least if you've any decency you would.

They asked which one they should go for, not if P2P investments were a risk worth considering. Given they provided a broken link to a crappy site and then asking low grade stealthers for advice it seemed only appropriate to tell them to walk away. They clearly haven't got a clue what it's all about and risking what little capital they have would be foolish.

But in your world that's 'shooting someone down'.

A fool and their money are easily parted, there's plenty of websites who will take money without any conscience whatsoever. I think we both know one. :)

To be fair, you do come off as a pompous twat pretty often. You usually have a valid point of view playing devil's advocate, so I don't necessarily see it as a bad thing "all" the time.

Sharing my 2 cents as an observer, no hard feelings.
