Nice, was invested in AT&T, but they recently took away shares, and Ford suspended payout. Right now i'm liking:
PSEC
TRST
PEY
and others
You should really focus on index funds instead of individual stocks; just a suggestion. There is too much risk with individual stocks (they can go out of business) while index funds are a basket of individual companies (usually hundreds).
This way you can just select a good fund, continually invest, and leave it alone while it grows for you (boring but safe and works).
good individual stock rewards its shareholders by increasing its dividend every year.
These days many companies are sitting on HUGE pile of cash, besides share buyback, they are also upping the dividend or issuing special dividend.
if you believe people will eventually go back to the office to work OR cant afford to buy a house, take a look at some reits.
Alphabet has been talking about paying a dividend for years,I am still waiting ,it would be GOOG not GOOGLE
