We regret to inform you that your eBay account is prohibited from listing additional items at this time. In order to maintain a safe trading environment, selling limits are occasionally placed on accounts. This selling limit is in no way meant to question your record with eBay or standing within the eBay community. What is your feedback right now? Is it currently low? I know that if you have negatives (which you stated you do not have) or if you have a low feedback rating, ebay will sometimes place these restrictions.

It seems as though you are trying to list VERO type items and have reached your 30 day limit on that style of item.

This is normal and has been going on for MANY months

Yes, that's probably because you were trying to list more than one or two Vero items in 30 days. However, you are allowed to sell other, non-Vero items without limitations. I believe a Feedback of 100+ takes away this annoying pop-ups..Most of us get them, I do and I sell only obvious authentic. But Ebay is so freaked out with law suites against them, it doesn't matter if you are selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ or authentic. Only substantial positive feedback will MAYBE take care of it... I don't know of anything else.

You can also swap your items around....
List VERO brand 1 - get limit
List VERO brand 2 - get limit
List VERO brand 3 - get limit
List VERO brand 4 - get limit
List VERO brand 5 - get limit

The eBay flags for the 30 day limit is BRAND based.

yaw, surely the category relates to a type/brand? Almost the same. Like
say it's xyz jeans, they can not be listed in designer clothing?

Still the same....
Shoes - Boots.
If you go from Shoes to jeans I bet you would work just fine.

I believe Ebay radars are set to look for certain words in the titles and listings...and, even certain variants of those words. There was an excellent post some time ago in the forums from Ebayhateluv on how to work around this, but can't find it now....It used to be if you could be "creative" enough in your title listing you could "dunk" the radars, so you'd still do good with auction if you just placed it in the correct "item details" section where you select the brand name. Now, I think radars are also scanning category-brand section and raise flags.

Lyda, this is the thread:

Just going to add that 'variables' may have changed since it was first posted. But for newer users, it is still worthwhile to read her comments. This is
actually tried AND tested AND confirmed as working by ebayhateluv.

Well received a reply

Thank you for contacting eBay in regard to the selling limits on your
eBay account.

I appreciate the time you took to contact eBay regarding the limits on
your eBay account. We occasionally place selling limits on member
accounts in an effort to maintain a safe and stable trading environment
on eBay.

We set these selling limits on your account in order to assist you in
building a strong foundation for future transactions on eBay. This limit
is not meant to negatively reflect your selling record or account
standing with eBay.

Your account has been reviewed and we've adjusted your selling limits to
allow additional activity to take place. Please note that these limits
will not be raised again until you have sold some of these items and
received positive feedback for your future transactions.

We sincerely value you as a member of our trading community and look
forward to building a successful relationship with you.

Wow, so writing to them actually works?!!!

I have been selling ABC shoes for 3 months without any problems. I was listing 6 pairs a day. All the sudden, Ebay slapped me with this 30 day limit thing. I have 144 positive feedbacks, only one negative. What is going on?!!!

I think the limits are automatically placed and then you need to get a real monkey to look at your account. They drag their feet on this, but I got my limits removed like two weeks after complaining to them.
