How Many Bank Accounts Can You Open Per Branch?
 

Hi Guys,

I tend to open 2 accounts per branch (Current account and savings account), but am running out of banks that allow mis-matched names.

I think I remember someone saying they could open 20 accounts from only 3 branches.

Anyone know if this is at all valid, or if there is a way to at least get more than 2? ;)

If you sign in to your online banking you can open more accounts online. Halifax, bank of scotland and NatWest are really great banks for it. Savings accounts are easy to open and close online and don't affect your credit rating like a current account would.

The general rule handed out is no more than 5 with any one bank.
