Auctivia - can you login without stealth IP? Will it link to Ebay?
 

Time to polish up my listings, so I'm thinking to go with Auctivia for Ebay listings, what I want to know is does Auctivia link you to Ebay, if you login into Auctivia with your normal broadband IP?

Or will you need to use a stealth IP (same as Ebay) so they both match?

I know in the past you could login into Auctivia with a different IP and it wouldn't link the IP to your Ebay, have things changed now?

I only know about it from using it a long time ago.

when you sign up with auctiva and you first generate a link to ebay, it sends you in to ebay, so the ip must be correct then. After this, you can manage solely on auctiva and the ip can be anything, as it not you but auctiva sending info to ebay....

there are things you need to log in to ebay for, auctiva does not do everything eg. handling disputes.... Plus you still need a correct ip for paypal logins and withdrawals etc......

So long as you have already generated the token then it's fine to use any IP

James, do I need to use T Mobile USB modem to generate the token or use the house internet (which my sister uses for her Ebay) - obviously don't want the IP linking to my sisters.

Can you use Auctiva for multiple Ebay accounts or just 1?

Just use a dongle to be safe :)
