Hi all-

This forum has been a big help understanding what went wrong with eBay (booted after over ten years of being a member...), especially after purchasing eBay Stealth. However, because it's been so long since I signed up for ebay and PP, I don't recall what might have changed and what to watch out for if I'm just interested in buying only (at least for now). Stealth's great, but I think a whole chapter on "traps to watch out for when being a buyer" would be a welcome addition.

From the book as well as reading the forum, I'm a bit hazing on just how to pay for items I've won. Again, please forgive me for not recalling the steps when I first signed up. But I'm assuming I should just pay for them with the Simon card via Paypal, right? What if I'd like to pay with funds from a legit bank account I'll add to my account? I can't imagine they'd like me changing my CC all the time as the funds from the Simon card run out.

If I must pay with funds from a bank account, it's clear from reading the forum that ebay, in most cases, only sees a routing number from my bank. If I'm transferring money to pay for these won items, won't PP see my legit name?

You should be fine paying with a bank account + PayPal, I do it all the time no issues.

Now when you're selling use prepaid cards to pay your eBay fees.
