does that wordround still work?

I mean to create an email address then use it as paypal payment email address in ebay without creating a paypal account.

I used that way without any problem 3 months ago but today when i used one of my seller account to list items at the first time,ebay asked me to link verified paypal before i could list.

I was wondering its because that workround doesnt work now or some other things i did wrong of that account.

In certain categories now, ebay insists on a paypal being attached to allow selling. The paypal must be working now

i just tried to sell some clothes not brand stuffs.anyone have succeful experiences of that workround recently?

Define clothes. Clothes can be seen as 'brand names' so ebay asks for that paypal account.
