Using Paypal for Shipping?

It's been about 5 or so years since I sold anything on Ebay. Last time I did, I used my real address so I had no problems paying for shipping on Paypal. I would just pay for all the shipping through Paypal and all tracking info was immediately updated on both Ebay and Paypal.

Now that I have stealth addresses, I'm not sure if I can do that anymore.

Is buying through stamps.com then uploading the tracking on Ebay/Paypal manually the only option? If I'm shipping a large amount of items out through multiple accounts, this could be time consuming and possibly a way of setting myself up to screw up somewhere.

I'm selling items that I don't care if I receive back, so if I had returns, I'd just refund the customer and they'd keep the used merchandise. So I don't care if the stealth address is on the return address.

Is there a way of paying for shipping through Paypal so tracking is all updated automatically? It was a lot easier than having to go to stamps.com and manually upload and enter all the buyers' addresses. Is there possibly a shipping option like flat-rate which doesn't matter where you're shipping from and to that I could use for Paypal shipping?

Thanks!

You can change the return address on your eBay account to a UPS store box or something, then you can use eBay shipping.

Frankly though stamps.com would be much easier. You can automatically import orders from eBay stores and batch print all of your shipping labels at once. Then all your tracking info is posted back to eBay, just like if you printed the label on eBay. You don't have to do things manually just because you use external postage software. All postage software integrates with e-commerce sites these days.

I think you could find a free option available for ebay sellers

Thanks for the replies. I ended up registering on stamps.com and printing a label since I had to get the package out on Saturday. I don't like how I have to prepay for postage and that I cannot reprint a label more than once.

I tried USPS.com, but it seems they only offer Priority Mail using flat-rate boxes and envelopes. I couldn't find Priority Mail where I could use my own envelope.

I'll try linking my Ebay account to it and seeing how that works out. The site does say the service is free for Ebay users so we'll see.
