| huntsville1977 | 04-21-2009 08:47 PM | Could someone just answer the question! I've been searching on here for the last 7 hours about how to get around the paypal SSN and no one seems to give an answer. If anyone has a good way to do it, would you mind letting me know. And yes...I do know that this questions has been asked on here LOTS of times; however, it never seems to get answered. |
Vicvelcro | 04-21-2009 08:49 PM | What exactly are you asking? Details, please. |
yaw1800 | 04-21-2009 08:53 PM | It never seems to get answered because there is NO GUARANTEED WAY OF GETTING AROUND IT... either you ditch the account or sit on the phone with them begging them to remove it... if you're lucky, its gone, otherwise you can expect that "we no longer wish to do business with you" email..... |
Vicvelcro | 04-21-2009 08:56 PM | Ok, so your question has nothing to do with typing it in while online. Am I correct?
I'm willing to give you the best answer I can. The more you tell me regarding the circumstances, what they want, how they want it, etc. etc. etc. - the more help and better answer you will likely receive.
BTW - take a deep breath. Make some coffee, have a smoke, and relax just a bit. |
huntsville1977 | 04-21-2009 09:17 PM | LOL! No kidding. It's like you can almost tell that I got a great account suspended today. Nothing's happened yet...I haven't even set up the account that could be potentially limited; however, just don't want to go through all the other trouble I plan on going through if I'm going to hit that road block with no promising way around it. This seems to me to be THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT of this whole process and I think it should be addressed! Thank you guys for being patient with me. |
Vicvelcro | 04-21-2009 09:19 PM | This may very well be the sticky wicket. Good to be planning ahead. You have more options available. So, you aren't currently IN THE JAM... That helps. Now, let's determine what you've got to work with. |
huntsville1977 | 04-21-2009 09:23 PM | Okay...I'm listening...go on. |
Vicvelcro | 04-21-2009 09:25 PM | Have you already created the Paypal account? Or are you in the process of gathering material so you know WHAT to use for the account? |
huntsville1977 | 04-21-2009 09:26 PM | I haven't created anything yet. |
GreenBean | 04-21-2009 09:27 PM | No no no. Hunts, tell us the reason for the suspension the truth the whole truth & no Fifth Amendment. Then it can be anyalzed:cheer: |
Vicvelcro | 04-21-2009 09:28 PM | Alright. Do you have a relative or friend who will let you use their SS#? I know it's a slim possibility, but it seems we're going to take this step by step.
And like my pal way up there ^^^^ says, tell us something. Throw us a bone. The more we know, the better. |

because I already asked the OP) |
huntsville1977 | 04-21-2009 09:33 PM | Well my suspension on my current account was for Vero and I even used ebays "prefilled" listing. Honestly, I'm all ready to go to the UPS store and get an address and a DBA and trac phone and dial up internet tomorrow. I just want to make sure I'm not wasting my time. That's the whole truth green bean. |
Vicvelcro | 04-21-2009 09:34 PM | Yeah, I tried that with my very first reply... Asked for details all in one lump sum. But, it isn't playing out that way. So, we go the long way, it would seem. |
huntsville1977 | 04-21-2009 09:35 PM | Ebay already told me the account will be reinstated in 7 days. Now I'm bored enough to give this stuff a try now that I have all this time on my hands...I just want to do it as good as I can. |
GreenBean | 04-21-2009 09:38 PM | Does this currently suspended account have an SSN? If it has then wait for the account to come back. Next round make new accounts with another party whose SSN is 'clean'. Never ever borrow an SSN & claim it is yours.:nono: It is 99% likely that anyone having to use paypal will need to supply the SSN. Its supply is inevitable: possible alternatives could be merchant account or pre-mid November 2007 ebay accounts |
huntsville1977 | 04-21-2009 09:39 PM | Okay...So if I use my mom's SSN would all my accounts have to be in her name? See, I think I could get a couple socials; however, I want to make at least 5-10 new accounts. I read a post on here from a guy from Canada and he says it's their Canadian law not to give SSN to a 3rd party. Couldn't I just say I'm Canadian? |
huntsville1977 | 04-21-2009 09:40 PM | GreenBean, sorry I was typing at the same time you were. It's on my wife's; however, I had a paypal account 2 years ago or so and it would be linked by bank account to my wife's. |
huntsville1977 | 04-21-2009 09:43 PM | Merchant accounts would be fine; however, most of what I'm selling is on that "paypal only" list. |
Vicvelcro | 04-21-2009 09:44 PM | So, now I have a question for you, huntsville1977.
Are you trying to make only a new Gaypal account? Or resurrect one you've had? Or make a whole new set of Feebay/Gaypal/Bank? |
huntsville1977 | 04-21-2009 09:47 PM | I'm trying to make some new stealth accounts to use in case something permanent happens to my currently suspended good account. |
Vicvelcro | 04-21-2009 09:55 PM | Ok, so it starts with background material. The SS#, a place to get mail if necessary, a prepaid phone or OVMB. | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 07:51 AM. | |
