That happens to me to! It always says I entered it wrong and gives me a new image. Most of the time I have to click submit 3 times before it will work.

It happened to me too after opening 4-5 gmail accounts one after another. Does anybody know if gmail is still safe to use with our paypal and ebay accounts?

BINGO!

GMAIL is the best way to go.. just don't open accounts one after the other too quickly, there is where you'll start having problems creating accounts.

I always use a new user account and a new ip to open a new gmail account, so why is this a problem?

That isn't a problem then.. obviously there is no connection with ip, cookies or flash objects so you're okay doing this.

It's because the letters are crammed together and sometimes two letters crammed together look like one letter.

You may have to zoom in to make sure you get ALL of the letters correctly.

I've found it hard to find good free emails services and so I searched. My comparisons are at this link Text search for "Comparison of free email services". There are actually sites with readable captchas that even allow POP (e.g. gawab.com) so you don't need gmail.

For Gmail, I mention how it's completely human-unreadable but bots can always read them. There's "Jiffy Gmail Creator", which is a program that can read them. You need something like that because Gmail regularly will not let you sign in until you get past its CAPTCHA and there's no way to contact gmail for help at all.

I've had this problem with creating multiple gmail accounts as well. It always happened when i tried creating them one right after another. They do this to prevent spammers from creating multiple accounts. As lakeman suggested, i think it might be with cookies/ip - maybe another tracking feature- i'm not sure. What I do know is that when I'm on a different user account/ip address, I'm able to create one on the first try- no problems.

I've never used Jiffy Gmail Creator.

Gmail doesn't stop spammers, just normal people. Spammers use AIs that real CAPTCHAs better than humans.
