problems linking cartmanger to ebay account
 

I have a pre 11/07 account ebay account and when I get to the page on ebay where it wants me to click agree icon to link cartmanger to my ebay account I click on agree and I get a message that says " Administration
[my ebay user name] You do not have permissions to access this area" . What am I doing wrong ?

thats a new one...contact cartmanager's support team as ask them. they usually get back to you the same day. please come back here and post your findings!

I was by told cart manager to contact ebay and see what's wrong I emailed them and I'm waiting on a response

okay I got it to work ebay wanted me to confirm my info and answer questions from a soft credit check and they called me over live help to see if my number was real

Soft credit check? Did Ebay ask your SS# so you can use Cartmanager?

nope no SS# I believe a soft credit check is done with ur name and address

Hmmm.. I thought soft credit check is when they compare your SS# if it matches your name and address, and real credit check is when they check all else on your credit report. Anyway, glad Ebay did not ask for your social as this would be new thing.

and also make sure the info you provide to cartmanger matches the info on your ebay account .

My info does not match and I have no problem. I gave Cartmanager my real info, but Ebay account I have it linked with has ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info.

strange I had to change the info on cartmanger to the info on ebay account to get it to work right

so your saying this I can use a legit paypal account with a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ebay account thru cartmanager and it should work fine

Yes, actually I have my ever first PayPal linked through my Cartmanager.. They don't share info with Ebay, plus it shows up as "goods" , not auction from Ebay in your PP.

There you go!;) Just make sure you don't use the same paypal if and when you sell in certain categories where they require paypal only. There, you have to use the one you linked to this ⊗⊗⊗⊗ Ebay account. Your old PayPal will only work through Cartmanager, so selling in some categories...
