eBay Account Limited After 4 months
 

so at 140 transactions about $10,000.00 in sales in 2017
- stealth account (purchased here) was limited after listing a single item with 5 items...
I thought after 90 days and becoming a top rated power seller that limitation would be removed

What items you list?
Sure it was because of listing this 5 items? Maybe someone report you?

I had a listing for 3 items one sold then I listed an additional 3 items for total of 5 as soon as I did that I locked up my account no longer possible to add any more items - no new listings - no changes or mods to existing listings.
Though all my existing listings are still live but will expire after the lusting period is over or unless they sell.
I had good luck with the account I had $25K limit just prior to the 3 months I a 45 listings for a toal of $24K they auto bumped my account to $70,000.00 without phoning in....

So they do not tell you the reason why they lock you?
Maybe because you sell to fast with new account?

nope I did not sell too fast I spent 4 months building up the account - eBay even raised to fro 25K to 75K in January.
It happened the second I changed an item ($250.00) from 3 items to 5 items....

sounds like unusual selling activity limitation. You should be able to make this go away after supplying everything they ask for.

So you're saying the thing you did was list an item for sale with a multiple quantity available? Like by showing the listing as a certain price, but "5" available...? That's a high risk move? Or maybe at $250 each they consider it risky....? I wasn't aware that multiple quantities can be a sensitive thing.

Yes and No. It is because the activity is not normal on the account. Looks like a hacked account and sketchy activity. IF you started listing in that manner from the very first days it would not be a problem and if you started doing that after say 92 days or longer most likely not a problem.

what was the limitation code? sounds similar to what happened to me. that 10k mark I think can't be reached until month 6.

look like is was glitch on ebay's end - I called in got transfers 6 times finally 82 minutes later and explaining it 6 times I got the restriction lifted.
There was nothing unusual it just seemed to happen as soon as I hit 5 items on a single listing - since the account was well over 90 days plus being a top rated power sealer even - they just lifted the restriction - no questions asked I did call in from my stealth phone number though.AND they even bumped me up to $125K per month too... :clap:
