Default Thoughts on Vmware

Hello fellow subscribers,

I would like to get others thoughts or opinions about using VMware instead of simple user accounts for my eBay accounts. What are the pros and cons of each. Besides VMware is there a better alternative software to use instead? Can I transfer my history from each user account to the virtual machine without linking info? Your thoughts are appreciated.

Looking back at my stealth journey... Switching all my accounts to VMware/VPN has probably been THE best decision I've made. I save so much time and I'm so much more productive.

Was it easy to move your history over or did you start over with new?

Personally I've always started new accounts on a fresh VM, but it's possible to transition from user profiles to VMs. You would need to copy your "browser profiles" into your VMs once you create them. There's all kinds of info on the internet about transferring browser profiles.

Thank you, I was thinking to possibly move the entire Windows user profile and not just the browser info. For example the C:/users/* I want to move the entire profile from the main OS to the virtual machine. Is this possible or am I thinking incorrectly?

Definitely possible but not using the method you mentioned. There's an option in VMWare to virtualize your entire physical desktop. I would take that route.

check it:
