UK PayPal asking for National Insurance Numbers, workaround needed
 

I just managed to open up a stealth account and got a paypal payment, they limited my account and are now asking for a UK national insurance number, the account was less than 4 weeks old.

is there a workaround we in the UK can use?

I'm not giving out my national insurance number, i started a part time job last summer and don't want my national insurance being used by paypal or ebay, i've emailed them back telling them i refuse to give them my NI due to data protection act, wiating to hear what they say now:mad:

have other UK users been asked to provide their NI number?

what was the amount in your paypal account before receiving the payment and what was the amount of the paypal payment which resulted in your acount being limited and asked for NI number?

how old was the account?
