Paypal is getting much stricter?
 

I've noticed Paypal is getting much stricter -- new accounts are getting limited asap sometimes after the first sale. Has anyone noticed this?

I had 3 stealth accounts, browsed around for a few weeks before listing, and as soon as I receive the first payment, Paypal is limited due to "high volume of sales". What's even weirder is I never get a limitation email - it's simply limited and I find out when I log in. Anyone else experience this?

Yes, glad someone else noticed it too. It seems like since the middle of April they've been doing this. I could literally make 15 accounts in a row and receive $300+ on EACH of them within 5 days of making them and not receive a single limitation!

But now, it's like I'll be lucky to not get limited after selling something for even $150 in a LOW RISK category.

I can tell you that I have bought two accounts recently one was from Askpin and another from a trusted seller here and both were aged I think two months but had no transactions on them.

I added my bank account to the paypal (Separate bank account for each account) used IPburger ip addresses (Which since I have used them I have always gotten the same ip when I log on) and have run about 4k through them in the last two months with no problem.

I did ramp them up slowly the first 4 weeks but they are humming along now.

I transfer money every few days from the paypal accounts to my bank accounts.

I can report that I have not had a single issue with Paypal

I might mention that I sell in a high risk category as well on both accounts.

My accounts are aged 1-2 months, browse around add things to my watch list, I list a book for 1 week, then a high risk category item at $0.99 next week, as soon as the item ends, I receive payment, and Paypal gets limited.

I have separate user accounts for each ebay account, different IP, etc

Age is one factor, but most importantly for PayPal is they want to see a bit more transaction history (via ebay) before they will let u clear a sale from either a high risk category or larger amount. The algorithms that determine if you get limited or not are extremely complex and vary from account to account.

I have noticed the same thing as well. Made 7 new accounts, 6 of them were limited after few sales and PayPal didn't even send out limitation emails.

I have noticed since they broke off from ebay that it got some what harder on paypal

Another Paypal account, new, got limited today after receiving $100 for the first sale.

Update: used secondeye to get stealth docs. great quality but did not work. The paypal rep permanently limited me and said they couldn't verify my identity.

I sent in drivers license and utility bill from secondeye, everything was correct on them. PayPal rep said they couldn't verify my identity based on those 2 things.. also told me to not ship anything anymore bc they will perm limit me. This was after I sold 1 item and received first payment. Not sure if they have access to drivers license database or what.

Are you selling the same items over and over? Same images?

Not at all, all different items and different pictures. I've been selling on Ebay over 9 years.. so know the game pretty well.

Maybe that account with Second Eye docs went down due to a bad rep/bad luck. I'm kinda exhausted with trying to open more accounts just to get them limited on first sale though.

hi Guys,

im pretty much in the same situation. before April i could easily make 400 pounds per account and take it out no issue. now after 100 pounds itll get limited.... it is exhausting. ive read the book and im going to try a few things @ebaychic2013, look at your IP address and look at the address. if your ip address saying your in e.g. new york but your giving a washinton address ?

also password? are your passwords the same on every account?

if you find a solution please let me know as im stuck and confused myself.

Maybe the sellers of Ebay accounts on Askpin can chime in on this or people that have bought accounts from them ?
