Best VPN so ISP can't track what your downloading?

Recently received email from ISP saying not recommended to use BitTorrent, so what is the best VPN to use so ISP can't track if your on Bit torrent?

If its only for downloading purposes any VPN will do as long as they have decent bandwidth to support speedy downloads - and as long as they dont maintain IP records.
For download purposes only (NOT stealth) I use PIA (Private Internet Access)

I use ExpressVPN, their really good if you use a UK based server. Speed is also very generous, you won't feel your speed is being throttled. The sweetest part is their software comes with a killswitch, so if VPN drops, so does your connection.

ProtonVPN is another one I have my eyes on. Not released to the public, and doesn't come with a killswitch (yet) - but most certainly one that will take to the stage in the coming year or so.

I think a VPN nowadays is a must, its just that added level of encryption/security that gives you that extra peace of mind.

I second PIA (Private Internet Access).

I use it for all my non-stealth activities without any issues. It's good for mobile as well.

Soon IPBurger will offer similar services so maybe check on that in a couple months.

Hi Aspkin!! Its been a long time!! :-)

I'm new to VPN, so no idea what to go with, what do you personally recommend and is that life time membership on your VPN still on?

Last question is are IP logs saved?

Yes, with IPBurger the offer is still good (lifetime Subscribed VIP with purchase of an IP).

For torrenting don't use IPBurger (we don't allow that), use PIA (privateinternetaccess.com).

Logs are never kept.

O.k so let me get this straight

IPBurger is just for surfing and downloading BUT not downloading from torrents?

PIA is for torrents and normal downloads as well or just torrents?

PIA is for anything.. they don't have issues with torrenting from what I've seen.

IPBurger is for anything as well other than torrenting because our hosting doesn't allow that (we can probably offer whatever IPs later in the future but right now we don't have that).

Even though the IP is different, could you still not be found out to be the same user from your MAC address? Does IP hide/change your MAC address?

People need to understand that a MAC Address can't be seen by Amazon or any other website UNLESS you allow them to do so.

Let's say for example your banned on a forum, then use a fresh new IP, won't the forum still find out your a previously banned member because they have from their side forum option wise the ability to see your MAC address, computer name (if computer name is same as banned) and can you explain how not to reveal your MAC address?

Aspkin, will IPBURGER work the same as PIA (Private Internet Access)?

With PIA that you'll obviously have to pay with your real details to sign up, so that's hardly going to be stealth.
