Firefox is running slow motion on Ebay, but Internet Explorer is fine, whats wrong?

Got a bit of a problem, I upgraded to the latest version of firefox and now I cannot use ebay at all, because it just sticks and runs so slow motion, takes live forever loading a search result up, live over 10mins.

the pages stick and it shows something like ebaystatick.sol or something similar in the bottom left of the page

I turned off zonealarms and that helped, so i think some setting is wrong in zonelarms that is to do with cookies or something?

any help appreciated

Well, I just upgraded Firefox, to check this out for you. I do not use ZoneAlarm.

Without logging in to ebay, and just searching as a guest, I had no problems. Instant results.

Logged in. Searched. No problems.

That eliminates Firefox.
For what it is worth, my plugins include adblock, flashblock, noscript, betterprivacy, and objection. I also have DOM storage disabled in 'about:config'

it has to be zonealarm then, what settings should be on or shall i set it back to default and see if that helps

I really can't say which settings to use. I uninstalled ZoneAlarm back in 2001 because it was a bit over-the top for my needs. Thus, I'm not familiar with all the settings, anymore.

Just guessing, I'd make sure you add ebay.com and all the related sites to the ZoneAlarm allow list. This includes ebaystatic.com and ebayrtm.com

See what that does for you, to start with.

Ive had issues with firefox and the selling page. The drop down menu options get all messed up when trying to select. And also, the description or html input window gets messed up as well.

Would that be the old selling page or the new selling page (not yet available to everyone)?
