ein

I could have sworn you could get a new ein number every day but limited to 1 a day. My last account was under my sole prop ein number, so I went to get a new one and it says I cant. I called the irs and they told me you get 1 ein number no matter what. How am I gonna make a stealth account when I cant get past this issue? Buy multiples off people here lol.

You can get as many EINs as you have entities. A sole proprietor is just you and you are one entity. An LLC or Corp is a different entity from you and you can get a new EIN for it. So in summary one EIN for you and one EIN for each of your Corps, LLCs, Trusts, etc (anything considered a legal entity).

Yes.. if you are doing business, there are expenses. If you are not doing enough business to pay to form an entity and get an address for that entity.. you probably do not need to worry about having a lot of them. It is one EIN application per person per day. So if you have a stack of 100 LLCs setup, you technically aren't allowed to apply for all their EINs the same day. But as far as EIN for the entity.. its permanently attached.. like a social security number for the entity. You cannot rotate EINs for a particular entity, except in extenuating circumstances.

well.....the answer is the EIN is free from the IRS. It does cost money to register with a state if/when you choose to.

A sole proprietor is just you. You have a SS and an EIN only option as an individual and both are essentially the same and permanently linked together.

Yea if you burned your sole prop then its toast. Its LLC from here on out if you plan on selling a lot.

You could spread sales more.

I use mix and match of all methods.
