Ebay -Automatic Payment Method - added Entropay - Been Declined?!?

The Entropay card I had on Ebay expired over 12 months and being lazy, I did not update the card on file on Ebay. I normally pay the seller fees through 'one time payment' with PayPal.

Today I tried to list an item and Ebay came up with the following error

"Oops, looks like you missed something. Please fix the problem below.
We appreciate your business on eBay!

We show that you do not have an Automatic Payment Method on file with us to pay your eBay seller fees. It's quick and easy to do – just click here to provide your Automatic payment Method. Failure to update your payment method will limit your ability to list items on ebay."

I clicked on the link, it took me to PayPal, where it confirmed if not enough funds were on the card (expired) funds would get taken from the bank account.

Then I created a new Entropay card, added that to PayPal, thinking it would be o.k. So went to Ebay added the same new card, tried to relist the item and again it come up with the error message above.

Can someone please help me, is Entropay not working anymore, or have done something wrong in the process?

I wouldn't add entropay to a UK paypal. It has been causing big issues for a while now. I would delete that card asap from your paypal.

Set up paypal as your automatic payment method. You can still make one time payments.

So have no card on file at all?

You can add a card, just not entropay. However you can run accounts perfectly fine without a card. Assuming your bank account is attached to paypal.

What are the best VCCs for UK stealth if Entropay is now dodgy.
Are there any of these store VCCs that can be withdrawn to?

1. Entropay isn't dodgy per se, but rather PayPal UK has blocked it, in addition to other VCCs.

2. There are many VCCs for sale here on the forums (http://www.aspkin.com/forums/ebay-accounts-sale/)

3. You can also purchase VCCs from UK supermarkets, they are a tad more expensive though.

4. UK PayPal accounts dont allow for withrawing to any other funding source aside from Bank accounts. Your referring to EU PayPal accounts - that's a complete different matter and perhaps deserves a thread of its own as it has nothing to do with the OPs query.

Hope that helps clear out the confusion a little :thumb:
