PayPal Verification for Business
 

Hey there guys, just had a quick question. I just got a Federal Tax ID online (wow that was fast). I am going to use that as an alternative to my SS#. My question is directed to those that have done this successfully and/or have insight into how PayPal uses the number. Can they ultimately find out the SS# behind the ID? Thanks in advance guy. Was cruising along on Ebay nicely for 3 months. Wanna try a legit account and get one for the long run.

I believe they can not insist on your social if you have Federal Tax ID. I have account like that, but they never asked for social or anything yet. I don't think the bank would give out your Social without your approval.

Yeah, I figured so much, but the Federal Tax ID was so easy to get, it makes me wonder if they're able to match anything up. We shall see.
