I use Gift Card Mall gift cards to register several ebay accounts now I get this message.

Even if you register the name and address, its the same thing.

Anybody else having these issues?

Just used one to setup account last week with no problems. So something has changed since then.

Wonder how many of them are reading this forum and making a list....and than go by it. It all started with PayPal and 21 day hold trick...

Regarding Vccs, not big deal really. If you open a checking account, you will get a debit card to go with it in a week.

How do you use the debit card that comes with your checking account with a stealth account?

They still take payment using them at least.

That is my question. Can we use the debit card that came with our checking acct? Will they see the name that is on it?

I use it all the time, they don't check names do they? just the number and address.

I never use my real address with stealth accounts so I haven't tried my bank card with a different name on the eBay account. But I can tell you I would never give eBay my bank card info!

I noticed that he said Ebay account. when I went to sign into my Paypal account they were asking for the same thing. Another credit/debit card. I already had my sssss card on file. So, now they are asking for another card. Could this mean the samething?

OK, for Stealth account:

1. You open checking in your real name, UPS address.
2. You get that bank account debit card tied to this checking account.
3. You open PayPal account with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name and right debit card and UPS box address.
4. You open Ebay account with same info you gave Paypal.

I don't use much Vcc, I think I don't have to. I don't stiff anyone for fees, I pay my bills and I don't need 100 accounts. I am OK, at least for now.

Guys here's how to do it. First get a card that lets you generate virtual credit card numbers. I know bofa and citabank have them but I've not seen others and if anyone knows others, please tell me (PM as well as this thread) as I'm irritated with both those banks for doing things like suddenly doubling CC interest rates.

Well you might be required to sign up with them to your home. But you can use online banking to change it to the UPS box. Then you can generate virtual #s.

Then basically AVS only checks the address # and zip code. So you can do a bunch of addresses in that zip code with the matching address #. Though eBay does like to link people in the same zip code, but you might be able to get away with it to a small extent.

But why would you get cc with them charging you interest? Debit cards are free.. Am I missing something?

Does this mean you are giving your real name to PP and eBay?

Using your debit card with the real name either will get you flagged or potential troubles later. I must be missing something.

No, I give just my real name when I open checking account in the bank. I use this checking accounts with debit card in my real name of course, for stealth accounts in the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name. I can do this because they don't check in whose name account is, just account numbers and maybe zip code or address. Worked for me so far if nothing changed recently, yes you can do it.

You could always do this, so I don't understand what's the big deal. I haven't had a problem yet.

Going out to get the other card that might still be working and will also test your method on another acct. Will report results later on both.

I guess even if they suspend us for using our real debit card, wouldn't matter too much since we've been banned already! :rant::D
