MUST I accept Paypal as a payment option?

I’m starting to set up my diversified portfolio of stealth accounts. I actually want a total of 10.

1 of the accounts is going to be pre 2007 and have a merchant account attached but the other 9 are not. All 10 will have its own EBay account attached. Of the 9 some will be LLC's , some wont etc etc....And I guess each account will have its own Cartmanager account...

Since on the other 9 accounts I will not have a merchant account attached and EBay requires some type of electronic payment ----MUST I accept Paypal as a payment option? Is there any way around it?

I know there are tricks using CCNow and google checkout etc... I’m talking about how the eBay accounts MUST be set up.

Any suggestions before I set these accounts up? Thank you.

You must be aware of what category each account will sell. Certain types require paypal. If it is clothing, cell phones,iPods, electronics aka high risk, then paypal is a required payment option. Not to say there is no work around;)

The category is laptops. Is paypal a required option even if you have a merchant account set up? Plus, I don't even mind setting up paypal as an option. My concern is that if I don't set it up correctly. ie They eventually ask me for a SS # , that I don't have, then I will lose the corresponding Ebay account that is attached. The last thing that I want to do is lose all of these accounts that I spend so much time on. For some reason----- Based upon my past volume, or for whatever reason. They keep asking for ss#'s
So the question now is do I need 9 separate ss #'s to match the names on the paypal accounts before I even begin?

In a way, you have answered your own question: use paypal on any USA account and the SSN might be needed. Even a correctly made account can be asked for this. Bottom line is it's paypal & that is what they ask.
