Used item on ebay stealth?
 

Hello everyone, I'm from Colombia. I just bought a stealth eBay account and I'm finishing reading the guide. The big doubt I have is that the guide advises that the first products to be sold should be used. I was looking at the shipping costs from Colombia to the United States, and for example: a product that weighs 1 pound and that is worth 2 dollars the shipping cost of 15 dollars. Any advice in this type of situation?:ranger:

Buy maybe 10 or 20 units, whatever you feel comfortable with. List them and see how they do. If they don't sell, you haven't lost too much. If they do well, scale up and buy in bulk. Shipping costs drop dramatically per unit the larger you make your orders i.e. 500 units of product X costs .20 cents per unit to ship instead of 15.

Answered half your question -

Your other concern is shipping costs to US. One possibility to reduce this cost is bundling.

Overly simplified example:

Product X sells for 25, ships for 15, profit of 10 per unit

2 Bundle of Product X sells for 45, ships for 20, profit of 12.5 per unit, total profit of 25

You actually increase your profit per unit even though you sold more items at a slightly discounted price. This difference is smaller than the cost of shipping them individually for 15 each, and you make that back as profit. :thumb:
