The paranoia starts...yet another tracking question.
 

Did the search, came up empty for my specific Q, so thanks in advance for any help...

I have 2 windows user accts, 1 for stealth acct and 2nd for my main pc use (non ebay).

Set FF to clear cookies etc on main window user acct.
Set FF to NOT clear cookies on stealth window user acct.

Here's the paranoid question:

Can I switch between windows users while I am logged into my stealth eBay account in win user #1, without being flagged?

To be blunt, I was going to open another browser (like Chrome or IE) and come to this site to double check on some things.
I got paranoid thinking that I would somehow get flagged. :noidea:

Am I being paranoid or what?

Ive wondered this too. I think you will be fine while switching.

If you switch IP's to get on your main account, the eBay page on your stealth account has already fully loaded, so no data is being transferred with the new ip on your stealth account.

That is all correct. If you switch user and change IP, you don't have to fully log out of the other windows account. You are still safe. Just remember to change IP back when you return from the 'hop'.

I leave windows open all the time and go back and forth on user accounts. haven't linked any yet that way so I'd agree that you'll be ok.

Thanks...only thing didn't do was switch ips when I "hopped" win users. I didn't log into my ebay acct of course, but did check on one of my listings thru win user (non-ebay).

That action was what made me paranoid.

Tricky, yeah you should be safe I do this all the time.

Like you I use my main login for other things, none eBay and I have separate user accounts for different eBay and PayPal accounts.

I switch back and forth without any issues.

I try not to go to eBay.com with my main user account to keep things good. :)

I think my plan will be ONE window user, one ip at a time.
Worst case, I'll use another pc if I have to.
