ebay and paypal in different names?
 

If banned JUST on ebay...
Is it a BAD idea to register new ebay in any name and address - but register a new Paypal account (with new IP addresses + all other guides on stealth book) - BUT... have the Paypal account be in your name (I would register a business account).

Making new accounts: is it good practice to have the same names on both ebay and paypal?

ebay and paypal are independent companies.
(So much so that ebay are going to dump paypal in 2 years or something.)
Do they REALLY connect to each other to cross reference information?

What proof do we have of this? I'm sure they link each other... just wondering.

Oh they do talk to each other... nothing new about that.

YES, ABSOLUTELY great practice to have both info match each other.

Best practice is to have all info on eb match that on pp account.

Mismatch info is a known security trip flag. Make stealth account in new info and match the eb and pp together.

I would stay on the safe side and ensure information between the two are consistent.
