Stealth book info missing

Greetings......
Been reading through the forums and there seems to be something for us subscribers that should be GO TO like section to fill in blanks left by the book.

First since Im serious doing LLC, Bank acct EIN each and posting business info on ebay as well as upgraded PP to Business.

To avoid limits on Paypal.

Still seems they trigger limit once you hits $20k or 200 items. Even with EIN in place. I did sell $1000 in one day and go over 200 items in one day perhaps that triggered it.

Is there a monthly limit on $ sales one should stay below to avoid triggering.

Not sure on the with draws but reading it sounds like best to take it slow $500 or less first 90 days. Say once a week. Or its ore about the slow ramp that and consistency of withdraws? Talking business accts not personal

Would posting, say a Passport right from the start be helpful instead of say waiting for them to ask for it? IE is being proactive tested to have any benefit?

Just trying to make accounts last and 400-500 items a month for me is :ranger:likely.

There's so many different factors that can trigger limitations that it's impossible to have one account that won't get in trouble. You need to have that mindset.

1. It depends on human behaviour who is for the first time selling on eBay. That's the thought. but also if the account creation is flawless, you can push the sales a little bit more.

2. Being proactive on Amazon is good. on eBay it's hit or miss.
They usually ask for info because they want to ban you for good rather than making sure that this is really you and they want to help.

I find this based on my own experience.

You're just going to have to slowly work your up to that. Keep the amounts and the sales total low and slowly build up. Will probably be about 3-6 months from now before you could sell 10 items a day with no issue from PayPal. But the limitation can be caused by anything so it's hard to pinpoint one thing.

Seriously 10 items a day can cause an issue.

Wow I will have to go really slow.....

Purchased 90 day accts thought I would be able do as I wanted....

Thanks for the heads up 10 a day....wow....will have to change my approach.

I was thinking 200 items a day

You really don't have to go that slow. Just build up your sales at a natural pace and you'll be fine.

25 or so sales first month, 50 or so sales 2nd month, 100 or so sales 3rd, then 200, then grow forever at that pace until you're where you want to be.

So go by month not week?

The book talks about weeks.....

Month would be easier.....

And how do they measure that ....1st day of each month? or sliding window?

Thanks

Yeah, your monthly sales volume is what matters most. Your weekly sales volume matters only because your overall sales velocity matters. Basically, you want to avoid selling too much too quickly on a new account - because that makes you look like you're not a new seller. Grow at a natural pace for the first 3 months and your account will be fine.

I've been selling for years and I've never measured my sales on a weekly basis.
