SSN to use balance
 

I'm pretty sure this has been discussed, but as I get into more serious things with stealth paypals I was wondering what to do if I encountered this problem. Sometimes when i create a new PayPal, paying for a IP, new phone number, VCC, Bank, ETC. I get the "Claim It" error once i receive a payment. This makes the stealth obsolete and during the process I wasted a good amount of money setting the account up. What should I do if I run into this problem? It sucks spending a lot of money to make a high quality account just to run into this error.

Yup. I saw a thread about Paypal updating TOS and new accounts getting it. I've made 3 stealths in the past 2 months, 2 were fine but 1 of them required SSN for some reason.

The only way around is to attach a USA bank account and withdraw your balance rather than spending it. If opening USA bank accounts isn't an option for you in Guam then you would probably be better off opening Paypal accounts of a different country.

Residents of Guam are USA citizens, right? So you should be able to open USA bank accounts?

Turning 18 in 2 months, also moving to the US in 2 days haha. I usually use my stealths for buying stuff and not for withdrawal, if i need to get money into my bank I exchange it for CashApp. Was just wondering if this problem could be countered.

have you tried using a credit card as source of payment instead of the paypal balance?

No, I solely use my paypal balance to make purchases online.

Maybe it's time to change that and use a difference source than the pP balance.

I personally don't like using my balance for anything.

There's no way around it at this point.

Paypal implemented this update to their TOS to stop stealthers from never adding a bank account and selling then using all the $ to buy things (from their other accounts in a lot of cases).

I see, thanks for clearing that up for me. Guess I'll just make some bank accounts once I turn 18.

You could make a bank account with a guardian present =)
