PayPal error message when adding bank
 

Hi I have 2 eBay stealth accounts that I’m unable to add a bank to as it keeps coming up with a error message. I’m not sure why but I didn’t try to call then and they tried to add it manually but was unable to do so . The lady told me to retry from my end within 24 hours , however still the same problem 2 weeks later. Any help would really be appreciated . Thank you

Call them and when the automated system asks you why your calling say “linking an bank account” and then you’ll be able to add bank account.

Which bank and type of account you are trying to add?

On one account a few months ago I was trying to add a savings account and kept getting errors. Even the automatic service and PayPal agent were not able to add it. I then tried a different account from a different bank and it got added straight away without error.

It’s a co-operative savings account and I also tried another savings account thinking there was something wrong with this particular one but still nothing .
