PayPal account got hacked

My paypal account recently got hacked by hackers.
Although I now resolved this with Paypal and get access to my account again, Paypal now limit my account and want Photo ID to verify my account.
It's a stealth account, what can I do ? can I just give Paypal ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ID ? and what kind of ID would be a good option ?

I am a very old member here, got a lot of help from this site to establish my eBay business, really sad if I have to let it go.

Try with the ID. nothing more the lose at this point.
Also, place security questions on the account, write it down and make sure something that only you would know and can think of.

Sorry to hear about the hack :( listen to BigCJ on this - not much you can do...stealth ID can work if done well

I want to enable my Paypal 2nd factor verification on my account, however, whenever I get into that security setting, the page is always black out, I mean there is nothing there.
Did anyone has experience setting up Paypal 2nd factor authentication ?
Does it require a reall mobile phone number ?
