phone extensions & 1-800 numbers

2 Questions:

1. Anybody has successful experience with ebay phone verification calling the extensions?

2. Do 1-800 numbers work with eBay phone verification system?

i never had a problem with 800 #'s not working as to alot of big Co.s like buy.com use ebay and they have 800 #s but as to extensions i never could get them to work.

Question for philly387 or anybody knows: You said you confirmed my1voice. However, i got a phone# from them with an extension. Did you apply a phone# with extension or just a 1-800 ?

I was useing my1v but it dont work for me no more but when it did u had to play around with the opitions. set it to where it auto calls your number and i think u had to keep it on ext 101 in the drop downbox.

yes, u r right. I have to change the "Type" value from "Auto Attendant" to "Extension". After I changed that value, the test call went through directly.

You said my1voice does not work for you, why?

I never really paid for there severice kept useing the free 30 days and they black listed my cell phone # :( i could get another prepaid phone if i wanted but its alot of hassle.

I believe they are still a very small online business. I called them 4 times for some tech support yesterday, hit the same guy 3 times. and they answer all phone calls within 3 seconds.
