Aged Ebay Account Delete

Sorry if this has been asked and answered, but I couldn't find a thread on this topic.

I had a few stealth accounts that had went dormant. I saw emails in my gmail recently that were basically saying to that my account would be deleted because of inactivity. I think it was saying I had to log in or I would be deleted.

When did ebay start doing this and is it possible to get the accounts reactivated? The paypals are still there...

If the account has been deleted due to inactivity it is impossible to get the account back. This is something they used to do a few years back and have stopped doing from all Ive seen - or maybe I just havnt seen it on any my accounts for whatever reason.
