BecomingASeller-do we still need a credit card on ebay for creating a seller account?
 

I just created a seller account on ebay : added the credit card ,got the phone verified ,but I still can't do listing, I got this from ebay:

So ,linking a verified paypal is a must?Even if I choose my credit card as payment source and passed the AVS ,I still need to link paypal?

If this is the case , do we still need a credit card on ebay for creating a seller account? It seems like just link your verified paypal~~~

eBay trusts Paypal more than CCs at least for now. This reminds me last year I did the same steps like yours and got the same stupid verification thing. Since then, I just do pairs and links and no more problem.

Re #1: Some categories REQUIRE that paypal be confirmed AND LINKED. Perhaps you were trying to list in one of those categories?

Linking a bank verified Paypal to my eBAY accounts has always fixed this.
