Selling with a pre 97 ebay account
 

I just gained access to an account that is 4 years old. I had to go through ebays password reset process and eventually had to speak to someone to verify that it was really my account.
The account was setup up to sell 4 years ago and I sold some items and received 100% feedback, but I have not used since then. My question is, even though its past the 30 day mark, because I am using it for the first time in 4 years and had to ask ebay to reset my password, is this account under a microscope right now?

How can it be a '97 account? This is 2009 so even with my bad math take away 4 years & that's 2005? :noidea:
Yes, there may be some attention paid to the account especially on your choice of listing. EG, selling an item worth $600 would not be recommended
Are you set up to receive payments? Is that angle covered. Since you have the stealth book, I strongly suggest reading thro' it to get an idea of how to proceed.:peace:

Arent pre 07 accounts granfathered and not required to use paypal?

If you don't have a paypal account though will they hassle the heck out of you until you actually verify yourself with a valid paypal account? Or will they put you under a microscope if you do not have a paypal account associated with the ebay account?
