Default Paypal and Experian

I have an account that is limited currently. So I called up and was talking to Paypal trying to avoid the SSN requirement to remove the limit on my account.

Anyways, I just thought I would pass along a little piece of information to everyone. Paypal when checking SSN... uses Experian.

I don't know if this is just a useless piece of info or if it is useful to anyone, but that's all I had. I had no luck in working around the SSN requirement btw. If anyone has been successful recently in doing so, please PM me and give me some incite.

Good day everyone

Thanks for this. It is never useless info to have anything about paypal. The more 'we' know, the better it is to beat them.

Looking over paypal's ToS, it is probable that they may use any of 3 credit agencies. experian is used in the USA & UK so the info is very good

I tried everything to get around the SSN verification. From calling Paypal to doing research on SSN numbers with no luck.

I even tried to enter an SSN number at Paypal. It is automated. It immediately said: That is not a valid SSN number (or something like that).

I knew it wasn't a real ssn number but I got the same message after entering a real one that didn't match the name.
