eBay is making it hard to contact them unless signed as buyer
 

I bought a item on ebay today first in a long time and i cant find the buyers email anywhere. it seems ebay wont give u the persons email instead u have to log in ebay and use the message system just to talk to the seller.

Did you pay for your item yet? Because if you want to pay, like using paypal, sellers info with email should be there.

o no i have'nt paid yet. I just remeber before i could get there email right after u won a item and now it seems there trying to faze out all communications from buyer to seller other then through ebays system.

Heck I think that changed sometime in 2007. Most annoying to have to go thro ebay. I do try to not buy from sellers that have no contact email address apparent on their listing;)

They changed a lot of stuff in the past year, because people were communicating outside of eBay to offer products out of the eBAY realm, and they didn't like it.

Unless he put his address in the listing you'll have to go through the message center.

GreenBean, eBay for a year at least has had a policy where they remove your listing if you have anything on it that lets the buyer contact you like email, phone #, or website. They say it must be on your about page. I've even had them pull my all listings for having a very brief seller bio on the listing with no contact info, just a bio.
