Hello

I took over an account from a relative (as per guide using relative except they already had an existing account which I used), changed the email address and put it onto a dedicated VPN through its own dedicated VmWare VM.

Account never had much activity for selling or purchases, however, I accidentally logged in from the VPS IP while it was off the VPN.

Shortly after listing 1st item received account restricted email.

Called them and they asked the usual questions only to say that I should find another selling platform and the decision would not be reversed.

The account is legit and I'm able to prove anything they may possibly need.

There's no reason why they should restrict the account, has anyone seen this sort of thing before?

They did ask me what Country I was in when I logged in so I'm suspected it was related to the VPN.

However seen as this is account is legit (except im in control, of it) and using VPN is not illegal.

Is there a way out?

Well you state yourself you logged in with the VPS's IP address which is more than likely blacklisted and from their questions apparently from the wrong country to boot.
And to answer your question - if ebay tells you theres no way out I highly doubt theres a way out. It is only them who can answer your question.
Try calling in again - maybe youll get a more reasonable rep (but don't hold your breath).
