Paypal Limited Suspicious Bank Activity
 

I got the same email today but they are only asking me to confirm my new bank account. I can't wait for them to deposit the change so I called and he said for me to just fax a bank statement. Obviously my names & addresses are different and I know how to fix that i'm just wondering how much they check it. I have account now and just opened it today so i'm not really sure what their statements look like. HELP!

I would ignore the fact they asked you to fax the bank statement and just wait for the 2 deposits to come in and hopefully it will work.

You should have told them it's a new account and you don't have a statement yet.

Actually you shouldn't have called them. You have to be patient.

Normally i would be but my house is running on a generator that just ran out of gas. Not to mention my 18 month old just got another round of shots today. Unfortunatley, waiting wasn't an option todayl

Paypal does call your bank to verify your name sometimes. And, believe it or not, banks actually tell them your private information.
