I find it hard to believe they'll limit all stealth accounts just like that in January.

It’s not all stealth accounts. It’s all business accounts registered as corps that have had a significant amount of sales through credit and debit cards.

They didn’t send it to any account that only has a business identity. I have 20 accounts with only business identity and I didn’t receive any notice. I only received it on the accounts that are selling high volume that are corps.

you mean .corp, s-corp those?

LLCs are getting the withdrawal issues too.

What's considered high volume in your opinion?

2 of my accounts with this issue are business accounts, and they bring in less than $1000 gross per month. Not high volume but higher value, low qty in sales

C Corp, s Corp llcs.

All the withdrawal issues are fixed as of 5:45 am today.

High volume is >10k gross sales a month.

Which issue? Beneficiary info issue or withdrawal issue?

I haven't withdrawn anything since, so it's back to normal completely?

I haven't gotten a beneficiary email at all on any accounts. So just withdrawal issue

Now that I think about it, I wonder if PP did this on purpose so people call in and have their reps on the phone push people to give their SSN.

It seems like every call I made in the past the reps answer has always been "give us your SSN"

I agree, I don't think it's a "glitch " at all. It's PayPal's way of getting people to call to extort information, or a lame attempt to convert the accounts to "keep money in PayPal " by making withdrawals to bank accounts difficult...which you need a SSN and PayPal also gains total control of your money which is as risky as betting it all on the longest shot at the horse racing track...you're gonna lose it.

Don't think that PP staff are 100% correct on the phone.
Sometimes, PP wants the staff to lies.

My experience:
When I asked them "where are you?" to PP call center in Turkey.
Their answers were England, Ireland, Netherlands, Germany.
when I said: as a Turk living in a foreign country how smoothly you speak Turkish, they had never stopped lying even .

When PP-Turkey was founded in 2007, as the subject of activity was 'computer services', not 'money trading or bank services'...
but we all know their only activity international money transfer/banking (and to steal the suspects' money).

The purpose of the establishment was different, their work was different. That is why PP was expelled from Turkey!

in Turkey, PP has been hidden from the state for 10 years and missed tax!

PP is a hypocrite, a liar and a hijacker/grabber company.
