Mexican ebay
 

I was looking over my PayPal account today and noticed you have the option of putting in a different street address. I was wondering if I said I was from a country like Mexico in which paypal doesn't ask you for a social security number but on eBay said was I was shipping from the USA would it still show up as shipping from Mexico? I am American and located in the USA by the way.

Don't know about that specific scenario.. but when you're using (for example) a mexican eB/PP combo and you put your item location as a US zip code + make listings on .com, you show up alongside USA sellers in search results.

What it does is shows your USA item location in listings but if a member goes to your profile it'll say "Based in mexico, xxxxxx has been a member since 2014". Doesn't make any difference in terms of how your listings rank. Chinese sellers are abusing CA accounts to death because of this.

In your example.. I don't think Paypal is going to let you convert your account (and thus get rid of "claim it") just because you told them you've moved to mexico. I would bet you'll have to start fresh, but I don't know.

I want to use Mexico Paypals with attached Bank accounts.
