USPS Rant
Get this, today I look at my email and see I have a message on one of my accounts. I log in, check my messages, it's from a woman who was charged $2.15 for postage due. I figured no big deal, ill just send her the money. My scale is probably off an ounce or two so I didn't think much of it. I asked her how much it was overweight and she told me 1/3 ounce! I sent her another email asking if she could confirm exactly what the notice said, sure enough it said one THIRD of an ounce. I immediately called USPS to see if this meant 1-3 ounces because 1/3 over just blew my mind. The woman on the phone told me that if it said 1/3 ounce it means one-third of an ounce over. I find this to be completely ridiculous!
Moral of the story, add an ounce to be sure and avoid problems.
